The interactive dancing multimedia fountain controlled by QR is a fountain composed of eight autonomous fountain units mounted on a circular water tank.It is a dynamic fountain with streams continuously in motion. Operation is facilitated via show programs launched cyclically at set times or on demand by passers-by.Interaction with the fountain takes place via a manual control panel and sensors for individual streams mounted on it.The control panel is made of granite or steel. Its surface houses proximity sensors arranged in a circular layout to mirror the arrangement of fountain units over the water tank, which enhances the interactive experience with the water streams. Each sensor corresponds to a single stream.The panel operates so that when any sensor detects a hand above it, the fountain switches from automatic show presentation mode to manual stream control mode. The fountain returns from manual control to automatic show mode if, for a brief period, the fountain’s automation detects no cyclic changes in the state of the panel’s sensors.
Programs of the Multimedia Fountain
Interaction with the multimedia fountain consists of activating individual water streams with hands via the fountain’s manual control panel. The control panel is made of granite or steel. Its surface houses proximity sensors arranged in a circular layout to reflect the positioning of the fountain units on the water reservoir, making it easier to play with the water streams. Each sensor is assigned to a single stream.The principle of operation is that when any sensor detects the presence of a hand above it, the entire fountain switches from automatic show presentation mode to manual stream control mode. The fountain returns from manual control mode to automatic show mode whenever, for a short time, the fountain’s automation does not register cyclic changes in the states of the panel’s sensors.
Multimedia Fountain – Show Activation
The first two programs are shows dynamically presenting the play of water and light, triggered alternately every 20 minutes. The first show lasts 8 minutes while the second lasts 12 minutes. Starting from the top of the hour, every 20 minutes the fountain activates into one of the two show modes.Streams from the individual nozzles are activated in such a way as to spectacularly present water and light interplay in various programmed presentation styles.The first is a subdued show, subtly manipulating water streams and color illumination; the second is a very dynamic display with vigorous water movement and a variety of colours after dusk.During the interval between shows, and throughout the night, the fountain operates in a rest mode. This entails that from each successive nozzle, a water stream is gently lifted to a small height in a languid manner, in the direction of clockwise motion.Also in rest mode after dark and throughout the night, individual water streams are illuminated in multicolored lights.

The show is activated on demand at any time by a passer-by, who by scanning the QR code from an info board with their phone, launches a web page to select one of two musical shows (could be any number).At the moment a musical piece is selected, the fountain interrupts its automatic show mode and begins “dancing” with its streams to the music coming from the passer-by’s phone.If another passer-by wants to launch the “dancing fountain” via QR during its musical mode, a message appears on their phone about the ongoing show and the possibility to join it.In this way, any number of people can join in admiring the “dancing fountain.”The fountain transitions from the musical “dancing fountain” mode back to the automatic show program mode when the fountain’s web page is closed or the screen of the last passer-by’s phone participating in the music program turns off.The fountain’s web application has geolocation protection, preventing the “dancing fountain” from being activated outside its immediate vicinity.
